Review: NYX ultra pearl mania pigments

Hello everyone! I thought i would share a short little review about the NYX ultra pearl mania pigments. I have poured mine out into tiny little clear plastic jars that i got from wal mart, it came in a case of 24, i don't keep mine in the plastic case however because it does not fit in my makeup drawer. So, i have 12 pigments. A few things about these pigments.. pros/cons


PROS:

• They are sooo so pigmented
• Used over a good base there is zero fall out
• Work well using over colors to add a little pop
• Come in a huge variety of colors
• A large amount of pigment in the little jars
• Very pearly and shimmery, great for adding a highlight

CONS:

• The packaging! The opening is so tiny you can barely use them in the original container.
• Well.. that was a short list of cons, eh?

Review: Hard Candy lengthening mascara in limelight

This mascara looked so awesome. I've always looked at hard candy stuff online or on youtube videos and i was always hoping one day i'd walk into wal mart and see a new cosmetic section full of hard candy at my local wal mart. And one, day, i did. Except it wasn't local, it's an hour away over a mountain or two. I didn't have much money on me so i just picked up this mascara to try out. (i think i will try a few of their lipsticks simply because of how cute the packaging is, and colors, gah, love)

So i couldn't wait to try out this mascara this morning before i went into work and well... i was so dissapointed. The mascara was six dollars. It had no pigmentation at all. The mascara wand was horrible, it's really long and narrow and kind of hard. It doesn't have any hairs or brushyness about it. It's just like a wand or stick. It did nothing to my lashes as well, even though i was really only hoping my lashes would be the color it shows int he tube, even if it didn't do anything for my eyelashes. However it didn't do anything, no color, no lengthening.

0/10 stars. Yes, it's seriously that bad.

Review: Rimmel gentle eye makeup remover

This stuff is fantastic, i go through so much of it. It truly is amazing. It removes waterproof mascara (it says on the bottle it does, which i only just now saw) Also says removes all types of eye makeup. I really do love this makeup remover and it is not oily at all. I'm so sick of oil free makeup removers that are more greasy that vegetable oil and butter. This is like 6 dollars or so at any place that sells rimmel products, target, wal mart, cvs. 4.2 fluid ounces.

Review: maybelline great lash BIG mascara

This mascara i remember seeing years and years ago. But this is the big brush version. The brush is enormous, the BIG part doesn't lie. This mascara works pretty well though the BIG brush doesn't exactly help when trying to reach outer corner and inner corner lashes. It also doesn't do anything for length, but a bit for volume. Doesn't clump a lot, however. Also the sticker on the front was ready to peel off the day i got it. The point of having a sticker is that it sticks, maybelline. Overall, i do not think i'd purchase this mascara again. It just doesn't work for me.

Sephora inspired brush holder with a twist.

Hello everyone! Welcome to my blog. This is an idea i got from ladies off youtube and few blogs i found on google. I had originally gone out to the dollar tree and bought two glass vases and filled them with pink sand which i also got from there for my brushes. The sand was sticking to the handles though, and i actually threw the sand in the trash right then and there, and the next day i bought glass drop things, however they are not large, they are the mini ones. like the decorative glass things you put in fish tanks or floral arrangements. Eventually the two glass vases got annoying to deal with. Then i got this little metal basket from work that's actually a Delicious Celebration container from Edible Arrangents. You can find them at goodwills for like 95 cents. :)

The picture below shows the beads pretty close to actual size, in the picture they are actually a tiny bit bigger.

Review: NYX candy glitter liners

I love NYX. I love just about all of their products from foundation, to primers to eyeshadows and pigments. However, i hate, HATE, these liners. The silver one has awesome pigmentation however the brush on the inside was all frayed out to the sides making use extremely difficult. The lavender one had barely any pigmentation and it almost seemed like it was dried out. The blue one had the same kind of issue. They took a while to dry then after they dried you could wipe them and the glitter would spread all over your face, so don't even try to keep these from getting in your eye, it will happen.

Another thing; don't store them laying on their sides. They leak!! They leaked all over the place and got on everything.

Cute packaging, though. ;D

Review: wet n wild mega liner liquid eyeliner

These eyeliners are horrible. I've seen so many reviews of these in other places saying how awesome they are. But i hate them! A year ago i got the turquoise color called "aqua" and i loved it so much and i could never find it, but then i found them at wal mart one day a few months ago and i bought a few more colors. They must have changed the formula or something because these don't go on well at all. The brush inside of one of them was like split down the middle and made application really hard. The eggplant colored one isn't pigmented at all, and the blue one just didn't cut it for me. Overall i would never buy these again.

Review: Jemma Kidd blush in 03 new york

I found this blush on sale at target, and at first i thought i wouldn't like it, but it actually works really well on my skin. I use it everyday now. After the sale i was finding these in goodwills too, i am a huge goodwill shopper and if you aren't please be aware target donates to goodwill, so if you love target like me you'll love goodwill. It's amazing. Sometimes they are extremely overpriced, but if you're lucky you'll find something nice. Always be careful when buying cosmetics from there. Just because it's sealed or boxed does not mean anything. Anyway, it's extremely pigmented. This is the only jemma kidd product i own. Does anyone else like jemma kidd? Comment. :)

Review: Wet n wild wild shine nail color

I tried these out because they were really cheap, about 98 cents at wal mart. There is a variety of colors there. Unfortunately, these nail polishes have really bad fumes compared to some others. It's also difficult to work with. Almost like it will clump up and not go on even almost like those plastic like nail polishes you'd use when you were a child. The clear protecting coat is horrible and does not protect anything and smells the WORST. I really love the light pink color shown, but chips even with a top coat after a day or two. Overall i think these nail polishes are pretty bad, and i would not buy them again. However the quality differs by color.

Review: CQ nail polishes

I bought these nail polishes because i was looking for some fun colors at a good price. Since i have started working at Edible Arrangements, the acid in the fruit has started to take a whack at my nails, and they are peeling a lot and get really weak and worst of all, they are turning yellow. So i paint my nails to protect them and to cover up any yellow tint. These nail polishes dry extremely fast, which is shocking to me. They are pretty pigmented and best of all they have some of my favorite colors. (corals pinks and oranges). They do chip after a while, and make sure to put a top coat on. It doesn't take 5 coats to make these show up either. And at only $1.94 a polish, a little chipping isn't the worst. Not for me, anyway. I don't freak out when the paint gets chipped off my nail. Get them at wal mart. They have a website but you can't buy anything on it.

Review: L.A. colors art deco nail art laquers

These work really well for those of you who are good at doing your own nail art, i got these for practice and since they are so cheap, why not? They are usually sold at dollar general stores, however i have seen a lot of dollar trees that carry LA color brands, but only one of which i've been to have had these. I got quite a few colors and planned to go back, but when i went back, they were gone. So if you see them, grab them. They go really fast. A few of them are really glittery, and some are nothing but glitter. A very huge variety of colors. They have a really long thin brush. I haven't quite mastered nail art, it takes a lot of time in my case. These are only one dollar, by the way.

Review: NYX 1000 miles long mascara

This mascara works really well for those who want length, it does not clump at all. The amount you get is not exactly generous, however, and they could have went a little further with the packaging. The tube is really small and boring and just in general, a bore. It works really really well though, does nothing for volume, jut length. Looks extremely natural. It has a thin narrow brush. It's also pretty cheap. I got mine at www.mscuppycakes.com for two dollars. $2.00 for a mascara is pretty good deal. Comes in a huge amount of colors!!

Review/pictures: CQ lipsticks

I picked up these lipsticks at walmart for $ 3.44, i bought 7 of them. Some of them are matte and some are shimmery, they are not sealed however, so it's really hard to find one that has not been vandalized.

Shimmery neutral/pink color. Not the best of the bunch as far as pigmentation.

Shimmery light pink, not very pigmented.

Very pigmented bright barbie pink lipstick, the bottom sample of the color is a bit messed up and doesn't match, this lipsitck is brilliant, however.

this is the worst lipstick of them all, has absolutely no pigmentation and goes on blotchy and weird. almost like it has clear spots in it.

This color is amazing, and goes on really well. Does dry out a bit, doesn't stain, not extremely long lasting. need to reapply after eating/drinking

My favorite one of the lot. A very bright highly pigmented orange lipstick. Matte.

This is the most purple lipstick i have ever seen in my life, and it goes on just like how you see it. not flattering for me, but if you like purples be sure to pick this one up. :)

Review/pictures: NYX round lip glosses

I bought all of my NYX round lip glosses from ebay from a seller named Joy017. She sells a lot of NYX products and as of now i buy most of my products from her. One right after the other i purchased 6 lip glosses from her, three different times. She has all of the colors listed and has some really good pictures on all of her listings that show pretty good colors of the lipglosses and other products. Her pictures can even help me when i'm buying from other sites.

All of the lip glosses have a citrus scent. A lot of people don't like this smell and often complain about it, however, i like it. So i have no idea what to tell you as far as the smell. some say 2.5/0.085oz the others say 9.50g/net wt

The colors i have will be listed below with a picture, and then what i think about each color below the picture. :)


RLG 20 kiss - very pigmented and shimmery, a nice neutral color has a slight red tint on lips


RLG 34 real nude - an okay color, goes on really well by itself, pretty much the exact same color as my lips however not a "nude" lip. matte color.



RLG36 ballerina pink - shimmery pink, not bright but still very pink. a good pink color that shows up well by itself, but would be best on top of something since it does seep into lines of lips slightly.

RLG 30 Sorbet - a nude color shows up shimmery, sheer a slight pink tint


RLG28 whipped - shimmery kind of sheer, great for use by itself just to add a little something to your lips if you're in a hurry, this is an almost everyday lip gloss for me

RLG 20 kiss - very pigmented and shimmery, a nice neutral color has a slight red tint on lips

RLG 24 cafe latte - shimmery nude, reminds me of NYX round lipstick , mute. not impressed with the way this one spreads out, very uneven, blotchy.

RLG 36 Pinky Nautral- a pink color, matte. great for everyday use. works great over a lipliner or lipstick.

RLG 19 apricot - i really exepcted a lot from this one because i love the color in the tube, however it shows up just barely on my lips and is the one orange shade out of all of the round lip glosses. matte

RLG 18 frosted red - a very pretty shimmery red color, does show up well on top of any red lipstick, or red lipliner, very pigmented. not too much shimmer, still suttle.
RLG 13 peach - shimmery coral/pink, barely pigmented at all and does not show up on my lips
RLG 11 Strawberry - shimmery coral/pink looks almost exactly like the color peach, applies very sheer and barely noticeable on my lips
RLG08 doll pink - my least favorite of the bunch, just because of the color. i would never wear this, it is very purple and i wouldn't say at all it's pink. matte
RLG06 Muave - one of my favorite of the bunch, a very good everyday color, a pink color but kind of natural, goes on well. matte
RLG05 Sparkle - this lip gloss is packed with glitter and shimmer. it's a pink shade, but has a lot of different things going on. very pigmented and goes on how it looks in the tube. (put on top of clear lip butter)
RLG04 golden red - looks like exactly what it says, golden red color. Not the best looking color in the world to me. Does not seep like the true red color. Applies a lot better, has some shimmer.
RLG03 Pink - A good bright pink color, does not seep into lines of lips. Goes well on top of lipstick or lip liner, very pigmented. Has some sparkle. Looks good on top of NYX round lipstick in narcissus.

RLG01 True Red - rich red color. this color kind of like sunk into the lines of my lips, i used it without a lip liner or lipstick. It works really well with lipstick. It is super pigmented, just not good for use by itself. MATTE dark red. Works well with NYX round lipstick in Electra.
